Wow, though I went to see beaches, Florida has some of the best most creative stores I was surprised to see. My favorite so far, hands down is The Sea Hagg and I had to do a feature on it here. An absolute crazy collection inside and out of anything nautical you could possibly want, it starts before you even enter the property with the mermaid car out front and the whymsical welded gate surrounding, from antiques and old boat parts, fishing rods, anchors hundreds of years old, architectural pieces, to beautiful stained glass fish and cement sculptures made by local artists. Jewellery, oars, floats, starfish, lamps, and curios you thought you had only dreamt up. This store is on Cortez rd, gulf of Mexico side, just before you cross the bridge to Anna Maria Island in Florida. It is a must see and a very memorable way to spend part of your day, look up, down, and all around, expect to spend an hour at least! Even better pictures on the website at www.seahagg.com check it out! Super inspiring as what a store could and should look like, a mix between antiques road show, garage sale extrodinaire, and art gallery!!!
