   A busy last few weeks. The Island Artisans Association has secured a store front at the Bay Centre which will be opening on May 16th, so a lot to organize behind the scenes. The gallery will be called Excellence in Crafts, this will be a pop up gallery and will showcase some amazing artwork from our members, from jewellery to clothes, glass to wood, metal and ceramics, and much more. The inventory and display will be continuously changing to make a dynamic display and a place to see what Victoria's best artisans are doing.
   I have been doing chandeliers, dragonflies, mermaids, and quail. Have also been sourcing metal and have some great metal for some large garden heron cut outs for the pond, to come next week.
