A nice life size chrome chicken made from a kettle and other recycled parts. This piece is one of several more to be created to go with Harley the huge rooster.
The challenge was to make what I am good at, metal mermaids, but this time in 3 Dimensions. Been working on this for weeks, she is made from chrome, stainless and 16 gauge steel, plus many recycled and found parts like Harley Davidson handle bars, light bases and accessories, copper, cutlery. I am very happy with her, the movement, spaces , and her curves have all turned out fantastic. Just working out her permanent mounting now...
